From Their Hands to Your Home

Every product at Purvam Fresh has a human story at its heart. These are the people who make what we bring to your table.

Meet the People Behind Our Products

The Women of Madugula

A self-help group of 14 women in Madugula village has been making traditional halwa using an unchanged recipe for over 30 years. No one taught them from a book — it was passed from mother to daughter over early mornings and slow flames. Today, Purvam Fresh helps them reach homes across India.

The Oil Pressers of Nellore

The Ramaiah family has operated a traditional wooden oil press (chekku) for three generations. While most oil mills switched to machines decades ago, they refused. Today, their cold-pressed groundnut and sesame oils are some of the purest available anywhere in the country.

The Grain Farmers of Rayalaseema

In the drought-prone soils of Rayalaseema, a small collective of 40 farmers still grows heirloom rice and millet varieties that the commercial agriculture industry abandoned long ago. Purvam Fresh buys their entire harvest at fair prices — giving them a reason to keep growing what matters.
